VBR333 Review - A New 3D Blu-Ray Player From Vizio

Vizio has recently introduced two new 3D capable Blu-Ray Players, the VBR333 and the VBR334. They are identical players, with the same specifications. The only difference is the VBR334 comes with a HDMI cable and can only be purchased in retail clubs. The VBR333 is a Profile 2.0 player, supporting BD-Live features and Bonus View. Has high-definition playback on 3D Blu-Rays and Blu-Ray discs. With support for high-resolution audio formats. It comes equipped with integrated Wi-Fi, making access to Vizio Internet Apps very easy.

VIDEO QUALITY: Video connections for the VBR333 come in the form of a HDMI Output, Composite Video Outputs and Component Video Outputs. Unlike some 3D players, it only has one HDMI Output. You will have to bypass your Audio/Video receiver if it is not 3D capable. The HDMI connection will produce 1080p/24 video resolution for both 3D Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray discs. And of course it will upscale any standard DVD to high-definition levels.

AUDIO QUALITY: Audio connections are the HDMI Output, 2.0-ch Analog Outputs and Digital Audio Outputs - Optical and Coaxial. The player can handle decoding high-resolution Audio formats, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Or you have the option of sending these audio signals in their native bitstream form to an Audio/Video receiver to decode. This has to be accomplished through a HDMI connection, since the player lacks any multi-channel outputs.

While the VBR333 can handle 3D Blu-Ray discs, it also supports Blu-Ray, DVD, CD audio, MP3, PNG, JPEG and WMA. The USB Port can be used to playback music and view photos. It has an integrated wireless 802.11n to connect to the internet. Making access to BD-Live (a USB device is required for storing BD-Live content), firmware updates and online streaming much more convenient. The Vizio Internet Apps includes Vudu, Netflix, Pandora, Twitter, Flickr and many more online services.

THE PROS: The Vizio VBR333 is capable of 1080p/24 playback on Blu-Ray Discs. Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio high-resolution formats can be decoded internally or transferred in their native bitstream form via a HDMI cable to be decoded externally. The player supports 3D playback, BD-Live and Bonus View, Vizio Internet Apps and Wi-Fi.

THE CONS: Only has one HDMI output, can not transfer two separate signal to your 3D TV and A/V receiver. No multi-channel analog outputs or internally memory to store downloaded content. A USB memory device is required for the BD-Live function. The player is also lacking any DLNA capability.

THE FINAL WORD: The Vizio VBR333 is one of the best deals around if you are looking for a player with 3D capability and integrated Wi-Fi. It provides solid 1080p video resolution playback on Blu-Ray Discs, with high-resolution audio formats. While not loaded with extra features, you can access online streaming services such as Netflix, VUDU Apps, Pandora, Flickr and Twitter. If you are looking for a player to go with your new 3D TV, the VBR333 is worth checking out. -- Price you should look for when purchasing -- $180.00

Blu Ray DVD Player Review LG BD 390 - Our Choice For Best Buy

Are you dissatisfied with your present video resolution? Are you not able to fully enjoy the movies you like the most? Blue-ray DVD player is the best option for those who wish to relish the beauty of the films and videos in high definition format. Here you do not simply watch the video, you virtually go through it and that defines the power of high definition!

High definition videos have revolutionized the world of entertainment altogether and enable the viewers to enjoy the mesmerizing power of the media. Be it your favorite videos or games or other data, the high resolution records take you to a different world. The clarity and resolution you experience from a high definition DVD is unmatchable, not to mention the old standard definition DVDs.

The optical disc storage medium, Blu-ray, was developed in a ground-breaking endeavor by the Blu-ray Disc Association. Blu-ray discs were created to record and playback the high definition videos. Even though HDTV sets made their appearance in the market, there existed no known systems to record and playback the high definition data. The discs were developed to store the high definition videos, PS3 video games and other information.

The optical disc format surpassed the ordinary format in several aspects which is evident from the immense storage capacity of the new format. The high definition discs can store up to 25 GB data on a single layer and about 50 GB information on the dual layer disc. The sophisticated audio and video codec of the new discs with their vast storage potential presents the customers the authentic, astounding features of the high definition.

The new format was assigned the name Blu-ray as it used the blue-violet laser for reading and writing the data contrary to the red laser used in other optical disc technologies.

The shorter wavelength of the blue-violet laser permits more stuffing of data in the disc, which is being cited as another plus of the Blu-ray DVDs. The physical dimension is more or less the same as that of the conventional DVDs and CDs.

Good quality Blu-ray DVD players display the same high quality, high resolution, colorful image with excellent clarity. The 1080 pixels resolution offered by the high definition discs has definite advantage over the old DVDs and the day will come soon when the old ones are almost displaced from the market.

Oppo BDP-83 is considered as the popular Blu-ray DVD player with unsurpassable standards even though the price is pretty high. The LG BD 390 is a good option for those who wish to set a medium budget, where one can avail the superior features and high speed at a moderate price. Among the players, Sony PS3 Slim gains competitive advantage by offering all the features at an affordable price. Our choice for best over all blu ray player when you take into account price and features is the Lg BD 390.

Sony BDP-S370 Blu-Ray Player Review

Out of the four new Blu-ray players announced this year by Sony, the BDP-S370, is the least expensive. (below $180.00) Costing less, doesn't always mean lesser value. You still get a nice set of features. Including access to BRAVIA® Internet Video, iPhone®/iPod touch® compatibility, Gracenote™ Metadata Service, Share Personal Entertainment and many more.

The BDP-S370 is coated with a glossy black finish and has a slim/sleek design. The control buttons are located on the front bottom where there is an indentation. The buttons are a mixture of touch sensitive controls and push buttons. Also, located on the front of the player, providing you easy access, is an USB port. The audio and Video outputs are found on the back of the Blu-ray player. And with it's Quick Start/Quick Load feature, you can start enjoying movies faster than ever before on a Blu-ray Player.

Video Quality: Displays great picture quality when playing Blu-ray Disc, the BDP-S370 can be connected the following ways: HDMI, Component or Composite Video outputs. HDMI connection will give you Full 1080p Output. Further enhancing the video display are features such as 24p True Cinema™ Technology, Deep Color and Precision Cinema HD Upscaling. Like almost all Blu-ray Players, the BDP-S370 will upscale standard resolution to 1080p image quality when playing a standard DVD.

Audio Quality: The BDP-S370 has internal audio decoding for Dolby TrueHD, Dolby TrueHD (bitstream), Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD (bitstream). It has a 192kHz/24bit Analog-to-Digital Converter and supports Digital Video Standards such as AVCH, MP3 and PCM. Audio connections for the BD-S370 are as follows: HDMI, Analog Audio Output: 2.0ch (L/R) and one Optical Audio Output. Unfortunately, there are no 7.1 audio outputs. Therefore a receiver with a HDMI input is require to decode the newest audio codes that are on the Blu-ray movie. All of these features and functions help provide you with very good audio quality.

This entry level Blu-ray Player has many other great features. One of which is BRAVIA® Internet Video. Here you can access a wide range of movies, TV shows, videos and music from the internet and stream them directly onto your TV. Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, Slacker and much more are all included with the BRAVIA® Internet Video feature. The BD-S370 will upscale the streaming media to near High Definition 1080p quality.

To use BRAVIA® Internet Video, you have to establish an internet connection to the Blu-ray Player. An Ethernet Port is located on the back of the Blu-ray Player, or you can connect to a wireless broadband network via a USB Wi-Fi adapter. This is not included with the Blu-ray Player and has to be purchased separately. Once connected to your Home Network, there is a feature called Share Personal Entertainment you can access. Where you can stream video files, music or photos between compatible devices. A compatible DLNA device such as your computer.

An interesting feature included with the BDP-S370 is the Gracenote Metadata Service. This will conveniently display information about the movies you are viewing. Another interesting feature that may appeal to some is the iPhone®/iPod touch® compatibility. This turns your iPhone® or iPod touch® into a remote control. This free app lets you control the Blu-ray DVD Player, while also giving you details on actors, directors and more.

THE PROS: The Sony BDP-S370 has a good set of features including Wi-Fi Ready, Streaming services like Neflix and Amazon On Demand, SACD playback and DLNA. Great picture quality and internal audio decoding for Dolby TrueHD, Dolby TrueHD (bitstream), Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD (bitstream).

THE CONS: Does not have any analog 7.1 audio outputs. DLNA feature will not be available until July 2010. No Built-in Wi-Fi, so a USB wireless adapter will be need if you want to connect to the internet. No 3D technology. Sony's BD-S470, BD-S570 and BD-S770 will all eventually have 3D capability.

THE FINAL WORD: Overall,Sony's BDP-S370 is a good Blu-ray Player in this price range. Has great image and audio quality on Blu-ray Disc. While lacking in some of the features found in higher end Sony Players, the BDP-S370 is a very good entry level Blu-ray DVD Player. -- Price you should look for when purchasing -- Under $180.00

Sony HTSS360 Blu-ray Disc Player Home Theater System Review

While home theater systems have been around for quite some time, Blu-ray disc capable home theater systems few and far in between. For the most part, this means that anyone wanting to watch full HD video on their home theater system have to get a separate Blu-ray disc player. For the user who is starting from scratch, its nice to have the option of getting a system than can play everything without having to search for the Blu-ray player that jives with the home theater system of your choice. For this reason, Sony have come up with the Sony HTSS360 Blu-ray Disc Player Home Theater System that consists of an AV receiver with three HDMI inputs and a 5.1 speaker system.

The Sony HTSS360 has four identical speakers (the front and surround speakers), as well as a tiny center channel and a sub-woofer. The front/surround speakers are encased in plastic with each speaker housing a single 2.6-inch cone driver. The center channel is even more compact than the speakers while the sub-woofer is passive in that it is un-powered with no built-in amp. This means that the system has a very small footprint in comparison to other home theater systems and should fit any room quite well.

Even the AV receiver has been made compact, complete with a stylish silver finish that would blend in well with most decors. The front panel has almost no controls except for the power button, input selection button and the huge volume knob on the right. The Sony HTSS360's remote is the standard Sony remote but thankfully it comes with bass and treble controls as well.

While the Sony HTSS360 comes with an automatic speaker calibration feature, you can also do your own manual tweaking. The set comes with an auto-setup microphone, which plugs into the back of the unit. The set also has a DCAC (Digital Cinema Auto Calibration) system that adjusts the volume level of each speaker and the sub-woofer, measuring the distance between each speaker and the user's listening position.

On top of the three HDMI inputs, the Sony HTSS360 is equipped with 3 analog audio inputs and 3 digital audio inputs; 2 optical and 1 coaxial. It also has Sony's Digital Media Port and comes equipped with Dolby and DTS sound decoding modes, including Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, and DTS. While there is no built-in support for satellite radio or HD radio, the Sony HTSS360 does offer both AM and FM tuners.

THE PROS: The BD-5900 Blu-ray Player from Samsung is very similar to the BD-C5500 Blu-ray Player which was released earlier this year. The big difference between the two players is that the BD-C5900 has 3D Blu-ray capability. It also is Wi-Fi 'Ready', BD-Live 'Ready', and is DLNA certified. Supports online media services: Internet-TV/Samsung Apps(provides content from Netflix, Pandora, Vudu, Blockbuster, Picasa and Twitter). Sony SCD-CE595 5-Disc CD Player Review

It never occurred to me that I will be replacing my old CD player. It's an old Sony CD player that I have been using for almost a decade now. It has been loyal and consistent with its performance. It is still working but one can definitely observe that it has gone through the normal wear and tear process. Also, it is about time to upgrade to a new player.

I love the 5 disc changer of Sony SCD-CE595. This definitely saves a lot of time. It made my listening sessions very convenient, hassle free and uninterrupted. I really don't understand why some users have issues with the remote control. I meant the player is easy to use. The buttons are even made in a conventional manner wherein you just push the buttons on the player. Think of it as a good source of exercise. Actually if you have other Sony appliances specifically the audio/video players, the remote of these appliances will work for this unit. Also, there are universal remote controls that you can use for this unit. There's always a solution other than complaining.

I never really bothered about super audio sound, but when I used my new player, I realized that there was definitely a big difference with the sound quality. This was very noticeable when you play classical or jazz music. It makes ordinary CDs sound superior. This intensifies the listening pleasure of nubile audio listeners. One most important thing to remember about this player is that the CD player loads slower than other players. The main reason is due to the board interpretation and decoding software/hardware on board to select playback. In time, the processes will definitely improve once the player gets used to the constant migration or interpretation from mono to stereo to multi channel.

The player has more advantages than disadvantages. It has an amazing sound on SACD and CDs. Its multichannel adjustments for speaker output and speaker distance is very convenient, just make sure you read the manual for easy reference. Also, the shuffle play can exchange a CD while still playing another one. The lack of button on the remote is not a major issue here nor the slow initialization in reading discs. The price offers more than these minimal drawbacks. After all, what every consumer wants is a superior sound quality. That part is truly commendable!

LG BD370 Blu-Ray Disc Player Review

It's time to up grade to the next level in your home entertainment arsenal. After reviewing countless articles and websites for the best value and performance, I have narrowed my choice down to the LG BD370. The price has been reduced by at least $100 since it was first released late in 2008. My logic is simple when purchasing high tech equipment-wait until the hype is over and purchase my items for a huge discount. 2010 is almost here and the new stuff from 2009 is old news making them available at bargain basement prices.

The innovative technologies you need in an optimal Blu-ray disc player to achieve the premier home theater experience are all included in the LG BD370 disc player. I am amazed at how this entry level Blu-ray disc player delivers the best in picture, and sound capabilities.

The biggest selling point in my decision for making the LG BD370 my top choice was the ability to connect to the Internet via an Ethernet connection and watch streaming movies from Netflix and YouTube!

With YouTube, a list of five videos is generated and displayed at a time and they're played in a small box on the right hand side.  The small box of movie selections can also be displayed in full screen with one click of the remote. You can't control the clips using the remote's normal playback buttons, instead you have to highlight the onscreen icons, but you can skip forward/back using the chapter skip keys.

While comical, if technologically deficient, videos of people doing stupid stuff at home or kicking each other in the groins on YouTube doesn't exactly sound like the biggest selling point, the CinemaNow and Yahoo! video partnership should give users access to content previously trapped on your computer.

I checked the CinemaNow website which boasts more than 14,000 titles from the major movie studios, broadcast and cable television shows. Talk about selection for your LG BD370!   Unlike the Netflix model where you sign up for a monthly fee and get unlimited access, CinemaNow is an "On-Demand" model where you only pay for what you want. The LG BD370 will allow users to browse the entire CinemaNow premium content catalog, instantly stream content, and access and watch movies purchased from other CinemaNow-powered stores. CinemaNow is the first broadband distributor of high definition content!

Another selling point was the fast start up time. And indeed, the start-up time really is not an issue with the LG BD370.   From power-up to when the disc starts displaying on your TV takes about 20 seconds - and that 20 seconds include the time it takes for the tray to open, the disc to go in and the tray to close again.

If you've got old DVDs at home that you want to watch on an HD TV, then you'll enjoy the awesome upscaling technology provided by the LG BD370 Blu-ray player.  I never knew that it would make such a drastic improvement in my movie watching!   The LG BD30 Blu-ray picture quality is excellent; with everything from skin tones to tree trunks and wheat fields coming through realistically. Fast-paced actions scenes from action movies are well-handled with a superb level of clarity.

If you are going to upgrade your home entertainment this year, check out all the feature and benefits of the LG BD370 Blu-ray disc player.  You will not be dissappointed.  Amazon usually has the best prices and offers an upgrade for for free delivery on the LG BD370 Blu-ray disc player.

What Will You Learn From a Lifestyle V10 Home Theater System Review?

There was a time when having a "home theater" was a pretty big deal. The thought of having a huge television screen with surround sound was what people have been dreaming about. But now, that dream is much more accessible and affordable for everyone and by reading a Lifestyle V10 Home Theater System review, you will see that this product is the product of choice for many people who love watching movies.

Just having a large, HD television is not enough these days. With the advent of Blu-Ray disk players, you are missing out on a lot of the sounds and experience of the movies that are made today. If you are watching a film like "Avatar", without the experience of stereo surround sound, then, as any Lifestyle V10 Home Theater System review will tell you, you are only seeing half the movie.

This is an exquisitely built five speaker surround system, designed especially for people with both HD televisions and Blu-Ray disc players. It is fully equipped with HDMI connectivity and various inputs and outputs, so you can plug in almost any piece of electronic equipment, from your computer to a video game console, and start getting the whole experience from all of your multimedia.

When you read a Lifestyle V10 Home Theater System review, you will see that the Lifestyle V10 is not just for people who are terribly geeky about their technology. People who love movies love to see them in surround sound, and people who love their sports also really can appreciate the improved performance of their television.

This system is built for almost any size room, is easy to install, and with five virtually invisible cube speakers, it will be as unobtrusive as possible while providing you with the sound you have only dreamed of.

LG BD 390 Network Blu-Ray Disc Player Review

Design: The LG BD 390 has gone for a conventional and refined look complete with a glossy, reflective faceplate accented by silver trimmings. The player offers an LCD screen near the center along with four playback controls. A removable plastic cover hides a USB port on the front. While the footprint remains more or less standard the player looks thinner and sleeker, allowing it to fit well in both home and office. The remote control was very good with simple to use and large sized controls.

Specifications: The LG BD 390 is Profile 2.0 compatible and with its 1GB of on-board storage you won't need a USB flash drive to access BD-Live features and content. As the player is equipped with both an Ethernet port as well as IEEE 802.11n WiFi this isn't a problem. Thankfully the player also supports 802.11b/g networks as well. Through its USB port the player can also handle MP3, JPEG, PNG, AVI, WMA, DivX-HD, XVID and even MKV file formats. With a fast connection the player can stream media to PCs on your network. The player also offers onboard decoding for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio along with support for bit stream output. IRiver MP3 Player Review

Since 2004, when the IRiver H320 was born with its nicely colored screen and good photo support, several IRiver products have come out on the MP3 players' market with slightly different design and improved features.

Those who have tried the IRiver H10 model with a slim case, colour screen and touch stroller must have noticed it is quite a pleasure to operate. Besides, the FM receiver and the high quality audio recording make it competitive. This model includes SRS surround effects as well. The FM is easy to program and operate both in cities and rural areas.

There are three quality levels to choose from for voice recording and they are very good, especially the medium and high level. One thing that owners have complained about is the fact that the colour screen becomes unreadable as soon as the backlight goes off, although the brightness and contrast are all right. Another flaw may be the too low resolution for viewing photos. Lastly, you cannot download directly from a digital camera but you can transfer text files to it and read them with the browser.

The IRiver T10 running on a single AA battery (which is said to deliver up to 45 hours of playback) offers up to 1 GB of storage. It looks quite attractive and offers good sound quality as well as some extra features such as a voice recorder and an FM tuner. It is a durable player and with a splash-proofing included it would have been gorgeous. However, it is considered rather expensive for what it offers.

The IRiver Clix gen 2 offers a lot of features in a great design. It uses flash memory and comes in different capacities (2, 4 and 8 GB). It is also a bit slimmer than previous models and the resolution is very sharp. The AMOLED screen draws less power from the battery which is a plus.
They say the ear buds are really crappy, some of the worst ever seen but the rest looks OK and you can replace those if you really want to. The FM tuner and the games included will probably make you forget about such flaws. All in all, it looks good, the extra features are enough and the player is very easy to handle.

The IRiver E100 looks sweet and offers good audio file support and extras (such as line-in recording and a micro SD slot) but it is not very easy to use from the moment you get hands on it. You may spend quite a while fiddling with its options which is not a very good thing in a player. Those who have tested the IRiver clix say that one is far easier to use and more fun as well.

The IRiver L Player looks like the IRiver clix but smaller. You can navigate by pressing down on the sides and corners of the screen. It is a truly diminutive player, weighing only 1.45 oz. and measuring 2.36x1.69x0.51 inch (HWD). The screen occupies almost the entire front surface, which makes you wonder how to hold it so as not to block the screen. It is easy to navigate the interface if you get used to its options. Again, the bundles ear buds are rather poor but the player sounds great.k

Samsung BD-C6500 Blu-ray Player Review

The BD-C6500 Blu-ray player is one of Samsung's new players for 2010. Samsung has loaded many features and functions into the BD-C6500. Including making it one of the fastest Blu-ray Players with disc loading and boot up speeds of 15 seconds. Other features include online streaming, built-in Wi-Fi and DLNA compliant.

Keeping in line with most new Blu-ray Players, the BD-C650 has a sleek, modern look with a slim design and black glossy finish. Samsung has applied a new Graphical User Interface (GUI) with this years batch of Blu-ray players. Using a more image based menu, Samsung hopes this will make it easier for the user to make selections. The user even has a choice between four skins to customize the GUI's appearance. Also, like all Samsung's Blu-ray Players this year, the BD-C6500 player meets all Energy Star 4.0 guidelines.

Video Quailty: The BD-C6500 has a HDMI Output, Component Video outputs and Composite Video Outputs. It can support video resolution of 1080p/24 fps when playing Blu-ray Discs without any requirements for conversion. Providing you with the picture quality possible. DVDs can be up-scaled to 1080p, so you can still enjoy your DVD collection at near High Definition quality.

Audio Quality: Audio connections for the BD-C6500 include HDMI, Optical Digital Audio Outputs an analog Audio Outputs (Stereo & 7.1 Ch). Having 7.1 analog outputs would be great for those who have Audio/Video receivers, so they can listen to Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio at full resolution. The BD-C6500 player does have internal audio decoding for Built-in Audio Decoders: Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital, DTS-HD decoder and Dolby Digital Plus.

The Samsung BD-C6500 Blu-ray Player also offers Internet-TV. Here you can access online material and view it directly on your TV. This service is provided by downloading widgets and apps such as Samsung Apps. Samsung Apps gives us access to online streaming services like Netflix, BLOCKBUSTER, Vudu, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Flickr, Pandora and many more. You can even go shopping online, share digital pictures with others or connect to a wide variety of online material all at your finger tips. Samsung promises more apps will become available in the future.

Of course an internet connection is needed to access these features. You can connect through the provided Ethernet Port or connect using the wireless LAN built-in the player. An internet connection is required for BD-Live content as well. BD-Live content is online material you can access with a Blu-ray Disc. Content such as extra movie scenes, movie trailers, online chat, and live commentary. Storage memory is needed for BD-Live content. Fortunately, the BD-C6500 has 1GB of internal memory so accessing BD-Live content is made more convenient.

The Ethernet Port and wireless LAN can be use to connect to a home network. By doing this you can take advantage of Samsung's AllShare feature. This allows content to be streamed between DLNA devices. For example, you can stream files stored on your computer to the Blu-ray Player and watch them on your TV.

THE PROS: Samsung is claiming the BD-C6500 to be the world's fastest Blu-ray Player. Having a 15 second disc load and 15 second boot up makes for a strong argument. It has low power consumption and meets Energy Star 4.0 guidelines. Wi-fi is built-in and has 1GB of internal memory. Also supports online media services: Internet-TV/Samsung Apps(provides content from Netflix, Pandora, Vudu, Blockbuster, Picasa and Twitter)

THE CONS: Internet-TV and Samsung Apps are new and not much is known how they will interact will other devices such as TV's, laptops, etc.

THE FINAL WORD: Overall, Samsung's BD-C6500 Blu-ray Player provides great video and audio quality. Energy efficient, with extremely fast operational speed. With the Internet/TV feature you are given an ever growing access to digital content. These great features and promises of more to come, the BD-C6500 may be the perfect Blu-ray Player to meet all your needs Now and In The Future. -- Price you should look for when purchasing -- Under $250.00

Christmas Electronics - LG BD 390 Network Blu-ray Disc Player Review

The way that you will watch TV and movies in the future is not how you watch them right now. Several devices have come out that are redefining the way we receive our in-house entertainment. The LG BD 390 Network Blu-ray Disc Player is one of these devices.

What is a network Blu-ray disc player anyway?

I will tell you a funny story. My friend Shirley wanted to get a Blu-ray disc player because she had seen the improved video quality at her friends house. She visited Amazon.com and simply bought the best selling Blu-ray disc player, the LG BD 390.

I asked her, "Have you been downloading movies from Netflix?"

She looked at me oddly and said: "Richard, this is a Blu-ray player. I can't watch movies from the Internet!"

We had a good laugh as I said, "Shirley, this is a networked Blu-ray disc that you have. Not only can you download movies from Netflix and many other sources, you can also view the media from your computer!"

Shirley was dumbfounded as she did not realize the capabilities that her LG BD 390 Blu-ray disc offered.

If you are looking to buy a Blu-ray disc player this holiday season, you definitely want to consider this model. Why? Because it is much more that just a Blu-ray disc player.

The LG BD 390 Blu-ray disc player is a networked device. This means that the player can connect wirelessly to both the Internet and your home network. What does this offer you? Much more than a traditional Blu-ray player at about the same price.

Let's have a quick look at the features of this LG device. If you have ever wondered how to watch downloaded movies on your top rated LCD TV, this is the way to go. Of course, you could learn how to connect your computer to your TV, but this involves a bunch of wires and moving your computer. This player connects directly to several movie download sources including Netflix, Vudu, and Netcast to let you watch virtually anything instantly on your TV without the computer as a middle man.

Additionally, this device allows you to connect to your computer wirelessly and display all of your computer media files including videos, photos, and music on your television.

On top of all of these features, it is also an outstanding Blu-ray player. So, if you are thinking of getting Blu-ray this Christmas, get the one Blu-ray player that does much more, the LG BD 390 Network Blu-ray Disc Player.

Blu Ray Players - The LG BD 390 Blu Ray Disc Player Review

Since its launch early this year, the LG BD 390 blu ray disc player has taken the BD world by storm. Many tech magazines and tech gurus are saying that this is the best all-round blu-ray player in the market. Although there are some other players in the market that is just a little better in terms of video quality, they are just way too expensive for the average consumer. If you are looking for a feature packed blu-ray player with impressive video playback, the LG BD 390 blu ray disc player is the way to go.

All the hype surrounding the LG BD 390 blu ray disc player is caused by the fact that it is just so much that a good BD player. First of all, it has built-in wi-fi capabilities so that you can connect the device to the internet without the use of any LAN cable. Once it is connected to the internet, you can use it to view a whole array of online streaming content such as Cinema Now, YouTube, Netflix and Netcast.

The good stuff doesn't stop there. This model has 7.1 analog outputs and online decoding for DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD sound formats. It also comes with 1GB of memory. On the front of the LG BD 390 blu ray disc player, you will find a USB port. When a USB drive is plugged in, you can view videos, music and images straight from the drive.

The Blu-ray and DVD movie playback was also very impressive. The loading time was fast and the video quality was very good, matching those of much more expensive systems. From the looks of it, you would think that the LG BD 390 blu ray disc player would cost a bomb. At the time of writing, it costs just $299 each, making it a must-have for any new Blu-ray enthusiast.
