It never occurred to me that I will be replacing my old CD player. It's an old Sony CD player that I have been using for almost a decade now. It has been loyal and consistent with its performance. It is still working but one can definitely observe that it has gone through the normal wear and tear process. Also, it is about time to upgrade to a new player.
I love the 5 disc changer of Sony SCD-CE595. This definitely saves a lot of time. It made my listening sessions very convenient, hassle free and uninterrupted. I really don't understand why some users have issues with the remote control. I meant the player is easy to use. The buttons are even made in a conventional manner wherein you just push the buttons on the player. Think of it as a good source of exercise. Actually if you have other Sony appliances specifically the audio/video players, the remote of these appliances will work for this unit. Also, there are universal remote controls that you can use for this unit. There's always a solution other than complaining.
I never really bothered about super audio sound, but when I used my new player, I realized that there was definitely a big difference with the sound quality. This was very noticeable when you play classical or jazz music. It makes ordinary CDs sound superior. This intensifies the listening pleasure of nubile audio listeners. One most important thing to remember about this player is that the CD player loads slower than other players. The main reason is due to the board interpretation and decoding software/hardware on board to select playback. In time, the processes will definitely improve once the player gets used to the constant migration or interpretation from mono to stereo to multi channel.
The player has more advantages than disadvantages. It has an amazing sound on SACD and CDs. Its multichannel adjustments for speaker output and speaker distance is very convenient, just make sure you read the manual for easy reference. Also, the shuffle play can exchange a CD while still playing another one. The lack of button on the remote is not a major issue here nor the slow initialization in reading discs. The price offers more than these minimal drawbacks. After all, what every consumer wants is a superior sound quality. That part is truly commendable!
